Solartech Indonesia, one of the largest solar PV and energy storage system trade shows in ASEAN, took place from March 6th to 8th, 2024, at JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta, Indonesia. Autowell, a renowned intelligent equipment manufacturer in the solar PV industry, engaged with industry experts and colleagues at booth No. A3L3-05, discussing the trends and innovative technologies in solar PV development. During the exhibition, Autowell showcased a variety of intelligent manufacturing equipment and industry solutions, garnering widespread attention and recognition.
Currently, Autowell's product lineup covers four major manufacturing stages in the solar industry: rods, wafers, cells, and modules. Its flagship product, the Multi-Busbar (MBB) PV Cell Soldering Stringer, is highly acclaimed in the industry for its high productivity, precision, and compatibility. Originating from China, Autowell has expanded its global footprint, with products now serving over 40 countries and regions and providing reliable equipment and services to more than 600 production bases.
Indonesia is recognized as one of the most promising solar PV markets globally, with over 3,600 GWp of renewable energy resources, including a solar energy potential exceeding 3,200 GWp. With the Indonesian government's commitment to achieving zero net emissions by 2060, solar PV systems emerge as the ideal choice for decarbonization.
Base on the data from Mckinsey, it shows that “solar PV is expected to grow significantly. Indonesia’s electricity capacity is planned centrally, directed by its long-term Electricity Business Plan (RUPTL). According to the plan, solar PV is set to contribute around 5 GW by 2030”. To fulfill this commitment, Indonesia must construct approximately 0.7 gigawatts peak (GWp) of solar PV power plants annually, offering opportunities throughout the solar PV value chain. Establishing domestic solar PV manufacturing facilities could enable Indonesia to reduce dependence on imported solar products, stimulate job growth, and drive technological advancement.
Therefore, Autowell remains dedicated to offering advanced technology and solutions for the Indonesian solar PV market, meeting the growing demands and supporting Indonesia and Southeast Asia in achieving sustainable development goals.
Over the years, Autowell has been dedicated to research and development, as well as comprehensive strategic planning. In recent years, with the rapid rise of the Southeast Asian solar PV market, Autowell has swiftly captured significant market share in countries such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and Cambodia, leveraging its outstanding product performance and global service advantages. As a result, Autowell consistently ranks among the industry leaders in these markets.
Autowell's journey to Indonesia not only aims to target its market prospects and lay early groundwork but also involves engaging with various industry clients in cutting-edge technology exchanges, continuously strengthening the innovation and leadership of Autowell's products. In the future, Autowell will continue its dedication to providing advanced technology and solutions for the Indonesian solar PV market, meeting the growing demands, providing essential support, and promoting sustainable development goals in Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian region.
